I studied English literature at DePaul University, where I graduated magna cum laude. In my senior year, I wrote on Charles Dickens’ relationship with France, focusing on the character of Hortense, a femme fatale marseillaise in Bleak House.

My French-language studies began in September of 2015. In the spring of 2016, I spent three months at the Alliance Française d’Ile de France (Paris) where I studied at the A2 level.

In June of 2017 I began to work as an intern at the Alliance Française de Chicago. I consider my time at the library to be the foundation of my current Ventures including. Not only did I get to work under an incredibly talented staff, I have had the pleasure of working with patrons of all ages.

I appeared on the “Mais Oui! Podcast”, where I was interviewed by Jane Eagleton. Check out the video below to hear it! Please excuse my grammatical fault around 00:48. I said “une” when the subject was actually masculine.
